We expect a lot from celebrities. They have to keep our very short attention spans at attention and they're supposed to have talent. Of some kind. Take Penn Badgley, one of the guys from "Gossip Girl." He's a pop fantasy figure even if his biggest talent’s not necessarily acting but lookin' good (like the rest of the CW). Maybe the real acting is the image they put out. Like here's Penn, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford — great name, kinda like Rock Hudson! If I understand it right from my gurlfrin’s gossip, Ed is Penn’s fake real boyfriend, Chace is Penn’s real fake boyfriend, and Ed and Chace are really real.
