This is one of the most poignant passages in the book. I was disappointed that it didn't appear in the movie. But now it turns out that it was filmed and later deleted. Too bad, it would have added a lot. (Unfortunately, typos in the captions.)

The scene advances their relationship to another level. Also, it gives insight into what it was like being a prince in a royal family where so much is expected that one may lose who they are. Especially if they are gay. A double whammy I say.
