Archie & Jughead in AI

Came across a story about the last episode of Riverdale, a show I never really got into. Made it sound as if the series was very very "queer" (a word I don't like) from beginning to end. The final twist in the last episode was a reveal that the four core characters -- Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead -- were in a polyamorous quad during their senior year of high school, exploring romantic and sexual relationships in shifting pairs. Okay! Haven't seen the episode but apparently, there were scenes of all four in different hot combinations...except no Archie and Jughead making out. People complained.

None of these look like KJ Apa and Cole Sprouse, I assume because of copyright issues. But we can imagine, right?!
