These were normal relationships between men in the Middle East for centuries. I have a friend teaching English in a Istambul university and he told me that it's still the use there. Men have women to have kids, educate them and take care of their homes but they have very CLOSE friend(s) with whom they have «fun» (sex) in some other apartments or bath saunas etc.. This is so hypocrite coming from Muslims being anti gay.
