Based on a limited survey taken one night in the Atlanta Eagle many years ago, this is close to reality. All you really find out there is a lot of pushy bottoms looking for a decent top.
Among my friends, the versatile option is more common, but the top option appears more often among younger people who, as they get older, tend to switch to the versatile.

As a top, I know many tops that have switched to bottom, but just three bottoms switching to top…. It’ s clear I’m loosing something good…

I’m versatile with guys my own age, a top for those that are younger and a passive bottom for the older men. The best of all three worlds :)
