"Harry Styles is a national — no, international — treasure."

Harry Styles Says He'd Rather Not Label His Sexuality,
Thank You Very Much

“I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself.”

Harry Styles is a national — no, international — treasure.

I mean, I think we can all pretty much concur with this girl, right?
This is the ONLY proper response to meeting Harry Styles IRL.

ANYWAY. In a new interview with UK paper The Sun
Styles spoke openly about his feelings on music, drugs, and sexuality.

When asked if he ever strictly identified with one sexual orientation or another,
he said, “No, I’ve never felt the need to really. No.”

“I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself,"
he continued.

Instead, Styles cited the sexually fluid Miley Cyrus as an example of someone
whose take on sexual politics he really admires.

“Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive.
People doing stuff like [Miley] is great," he told The Sun.
“It’s weird for me — everyone should just be who they want to be.
It’s tough to justify somebody having to answer to someone else about stuff like that.”

This isn't the only time Harry's been super mellow/cool/down for whatever
about his sexuality. In 2014, he joked about sleeping with guys in a
Sun interview, saying, "don't knock it til you try it."

Anyway, here's to you, Harry, for always keeping it real.

He's not all that. He's okay looking, but I doubt he'd be turning that many heads if he wasn't in a teenybopper boy band. He's a bit skinny and hairless for my taste, more boy than man. In about 10 more years he might be interesting. As for his talent, well, again, he's not all that. Okay voice that probably wouldn't have made it past the audition stage of Britain's Got Talent. National or international treasure? Really? Aren't we being a bit hyperbolic here?

Anon, I prefer a lithe, lean figure but I agree with your preference for men with natural body hair. He is too young.

When I read this article yesterday I thought it was great. I'm old, but it was so great to see a young person expressing this new flexible sexuality. I think it is great that this generation is not constrained by all of the strict definitions that I saw: being a "faggot", "homo", etc. I didn't have that luxury in my life. I was really pleased to see someone who is such an icon of his generation to make this statement.

Mark, at the treasure trail.

Yeah, the article was a bit over the top. I'm not a fan of pale-white-skinny but he is an amazing singer and the best of his age. Like the cool attitude about sexuality.
