Re: ‘Perry compares homosexuality to alcoholism’ (Metro, June 13-16) I was
glad to see that Texas Gov. Rick Perry does not desire to pursue his genetic
coding for alcoholism, but it got me thinking. When I was growing up, members of
the cocktail generation told me that you were not an alcoholic if you didn’t
start before 6 p.m. and had fewer than two per day. I wonder if the same
conditions apply to homosexuality.
P.S. And in case you wondered if there's anything to the rumors . . .
