Rick Perry, Lecturer on Alcoholism & Homosexuality

Too good not to share . . . from today’s “Metro” Letters to the Editor . . .

Re: ‘Perry compares homosexuality to alcoholism’ (Metro, June 13-16) I was glad to see that Texas Gov. Rick Perry does not desire to pursue his genetic coding for alcoholism, but it got me thinking. When I was growing up, members of the cocktail generation told me that you were not an alcoholic if you didn’t start before 6 p.m. and had fewer than two per day. I wonder if the same conditions apply to homosexuality.

P.S. And in case you wondered if there's anything to the rumors . . .
