Continuing the Conversation

In response to a question from one of the Buddies, how and why did manscaping become a fad? Like almost everything else in our society: marketing and corporate profits. Making guys believe there's something wrong with being natural -- whatever that means individually -- so they'll buy products. On here it's not judgment, it's not saying hairy or hairless is better, or that guys don't have a right to "groom" if they want to. One of the reasons for this blog is to destroy the myth that manscaping is preferable to being who you are just as you are. Think of all the boys who come home from P.E. and sports and look in the mirror to see if their man feathers are filling in. Or maybe not. It's not a competition.

Live the kind of life that suits you. In this really minor consideration, whether hairy as a gorilla or smooth as a baby's ass, be happy with who you are. And don't fall for corporate bullshit.
