I'm a fine art retired teacher. I did teach for 36 years to so many high school and college students.
When I encounter one of them, and I met some in lot of different places even in gay saunas, they always tell me the good memories they have of my classe and teachings and also the nice and kind way I had to cheer them up when they had teenager issues.
My first gay partener was one of my ex student. We saw each othe in a sauna in 1999, 22 years after he had been one of my 13yo student. Back then in 1977 he was in love with me but how could he tell his teacher he was in love?
Never underestimate the power of your actions or words on someone.
