It’s been known for ages in DC.
In the 1960’s there was a blond college jock that was a favorite with the conservative closet gay set of DC. They set the boy up for life.
My uncle would see him and other “favorites" of the conservative gay set when he worked as a sales clerk at the Woodward & Lothrop dept store. My uncle said the blond youth and the other “favorites” had credit galore courtesy of their clientele, and many were given employment after college. Not to mention exemptions from the very Viet-Nam war conservative hawks supported.
